Laurie Ann Lepoff and Her Work
Laurie
Ann has been teaching dance since 1980. She has performed
both with a partner and with a troupe. She specializes in teaching the skills of leading and following,
dancing to the music, and working with psychological and
physical barriers.
She
firmly believes anyone can learn to dance!
How
it all Works
Discuss
your goals in the initial phone call to see if private dance lessons are what you need. You can also get help figuring
out which dances will meet your
needs. You can learn everything you want in private
lessons, or combine them with group lessons at another
school.
Scheduling
lesson once a week works best for most people, but you can
come more or less frequently as you wish. Come alone or
with a partner for the same price.
Add five dollars per person to the total group cost for
more than two people. There is a twenty four hour cancellation
policy.
Lessons
can be scheduled one at a time or in a five lesson package for a discount. One at
a time lessons are paid for at the time the appointment
is made (except for the first one), and that represents
a commitment to taking it at some point. With twenty four hour notice it can be rescheduled, but no refunds.
Package commits you to five lessons and is paid for at the
end of the first lesson. You can decide after the first
lesson whether or not to choose the package.
Cancellation
without twenty four hour notice costs you a lesson. Exceptions
may be made for emergencies at Laurie Ann's discretion.

Personalized
gift certificates can be made to order at no extra charge.
They can be redeemed any time within a year.
Rent a Partner
Too
shy to get out there and ask strangers to dance?
If you
need a skilled partner for a special event or just to accompany
you to a dance for practice, your teacher can be hired at
the hourly cost of private lessons for a social evening.
